In this article, the creation of a database of phraseological units for English- Uzbek machine translation, the working principles of English phraseological units in dictionaries, types of phraseological units, the history of the study of phraseological units, methods of translating units into Uzbek and the semantic-structural analysis of lexical tools special attention was paid to its features.
